For those interested in the Socialist movement in this country; (I believe we are already well on our way) The following is what you have to look forward to:
10 Planks of the Communist Manifesto
1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes. (you can not own land or collect rent from any property because you won't have it because the government takes it away from you)
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. (need an explanation?)
3. Abolition of all right of inheritance. (your property is not your own nor does it belong to your descendants)
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. (emigrant is anyone who has given up his citizenship of his home country to become a citizen of this country)
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. (government controls the money)
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State. (government controls communication and trains, buses, planes, etc)
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. (government owns the factories, etc)
8. Equal liability of all to labour. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture. (you will work in the government owned industries and you will be in the military)
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equable distribution of the population over the country. (you will work and live where you are told to work and live by the government)
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production. (in school you will learn what you are told to learn in order to work where you are told to work by the government)
